INTRODUCTION TO DRAWING AND ITS TECHNIQUES
ANNUAL COURSE FOR SENIORS (+60 YEARS OLD)
28 SEP 2017 — 07 JUN 2018
The Museo ABC has created an education programme focused specifically on his senior students (60 years old or more). The course is divided into three terms of ten classes each: Drawing I (Proportions and the movement of the human body), Drawing II (Valuing volume and colour) and Drawing III (The composition and the space). This initiative pretends to approach the students to gradually get to understand «what they paint» and to enrich their imagination and develop new creative capacities.
Diverse techniques will be studied (watercolour, colour pencils, charcoul, ink, gouache, among others) so the student can experiment and develop new skills. The teacher will guide personally every student to adapt to his own interests and needs.
New participants will be guided personally by the teacher, on every step of their excercises. For those who have attended these lessons before, the work time will imply more independence. As in a personal studio, they will work on the techniques they enjoy the most.
TEACHER: JUAN RAMÓN ALONSO (Madrid, 1951).
