ASSAULT ON READING

The Museo ABC and EDELVIVES present the third edition of Assault on Reading (Asalto a la lectura). The aim is to support Reading in Family. The youngest members, accompanied by the adults, will open the classics and also modern books to travel through their pages. The workshops will take place the first Sunday of the month from October 2018 to June 2019, from 11.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.

Every day, we will focus on a different topic and we will enjoy reading essays, illustrated albums, plays or poems related to the subject. Once the texts have been understood and comprehended, we illustrate them and play in family.

PROGRAM 2018-2019

Assault on Reading will take place the following Sundays:

AUTUMN PROGRAM
Sunday, October 7th: Alice in wonderland’s Mad Tea Party.
Sunday, November 4th: Scary bed time stories: drawing monsters
Sunday, December 2nd: Noah’s fun flood.

WINTER PROGRAM
Sunday, January 6th: No Assault on Reading (Bankholiday).
Sunday, February 3rd: Three at a time. Neverending stories.
Sunday, March 3rd: Drop by drop.

SPRING PROGRAM
Sunday, April 7th: No Assault on Reading.
Sunday, May 5th: Fairies, elves and other extraordinary beings.
Sunday, June 2nd: A tale of shadows and lights.

Were the Museum obliged to cancel a childrens’ workshop for not reaching the required minimum of assistants, the families would be informed two days in advance.
