23—26 APR 2015

Museo ABC and Escuela de Arte Diez of Madrid organize the third week of Drawing And Illustration from the 21st to the 26th of April, and for the first time, they will dedicate it to the illustrated album. A conference that counts with some of the most influential authors of the current national scene: Emilio Urberuaga, Ana Fish, Elisa Arguilé, Xan López Domínguez, Adolfo Serra, Riki Blanco, Raw Design, Meikme, etc.

On Wednesday and Thursday renowned artists such as Emilio Urberuaga, Elisa Arguilé, Estudio Crudo, Riki Blanco, Adolfo Serra and Ana Pez will be teaching six illustration workshops for professionals and amateurs. The activities require previous registration and are carried out in Museo ABC and Escuela de Arte Diez.

On Friday afternoon, in Museo ABC, we are going to do a round table and an illustrated album master class —both activities are free.

And for the smallest family members, leisure activities about illustration have been organized during the weekend. Quick workshops about assembling books, guided tours through Little Red Hot Riding Hood exhibition, a workshop to create illustrated stories, a storytelling of Tales about “Babayaga” witches (framed in the annual program: Saturday’s Club) and a theater play of The Queen Of The Colors of the famous illustrator Jutta Bauer. Enjoy a family weekend in Museo ABC! Download the program to check prices and booking conditions.

In addition, five publishers and five speakers will explain the key to submit individual projects or portfolios to awards, fairs or publishing houses on Saturday at Museo ABC. Discover how to professionalize your work!
