ASSAULT ON READING

The Museo ABC presents a new education program this year: Assault on Reading (Asalto a la lectura). The aim is to support Reading in Family. The youngest members, accompanied by the adults, will open the classics and also modern books to travel through its pages. The workshops will take place the first Sunday of every month from October 2016 to June 2017, from 11.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.

Every day, we will focus on a different topic and we will enjoy reading essays, illustrated albums, plays or poems related to the subject. Once the texts have been understood and comprehended, we illustrate them and play in family.

PROGRAM 2016-2017

Assault on Reading will take place the following Sundays:
02 OCT / 06 NOV / 04 DEC / 05 FEB / 05 MAR / 02 APR / 07 MAY / 04 JUN

AUTUMN PROGRAM
Sunday, October 2nd: Colours and other stories. Age: children from 3 to 6 years old.
Sunday, November 6th: Travel books. Age: children from 3 to 6 years old.
Sunday, December 4th : Winter poems. Age: children from 3 to 6 years old.

WINTER PROGRAM
Sunday, January 1st: THE MUSEUM IS CLOSED
Sunday, February 5th: Tales for little artists. Age: children from 3 to 6 years old.
Sunday, March 5th: Pop-up books. Age: children from 5 years old.

SPRING PROGRAM
Sunday, April 2nd: Books to be read in the dark. Age: children from 3 to 6 years old.
Sunday, May 7th: Books illustrated with scissors. Age: children from 5 years old.
Sunday, June 4th: The Opera is pure invention! Age: children from 5 years old.

Were the Museum obliged to cancel a childrens’ workshop for not reaching the required minimum of assistants, the families would be informed two days in advance.
