HEROES COMIC CON MADRID

The Museo ABC collaborates with Heroes Comic Con Madrid, located at IFEMA Feria de Madrid on November, 10-12. During the event, the visitor can enjoy activities for children and adults and also meet remarkable authors like Frank Miller, Bruce Timm, Phil Jiménez…

The Museo ABC joins the fair organizing and sponsoring two activities:

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 10 / 4 p. m.
La historia de la historieta [The history of comic strips]
Talk by Antoni Guiral

Antoni Guiral, curator of the exhibition Historietas del Tebeo, 1917-1977 (at the Museo ABC until February, 25^th), will talk about the history of  the Spanish comics from their beginnings, 100 years ago. He will review the most important publications and original drawings which are presented in the exhibition in two sections: a timeline and a study by subjects, formats, and characters (where we will find Cuto, El Capitán Trueno, El Guerrero del Antifaz, Zipi and Zape, La Familia Ulises or Mortadelo and Filemón; and their creators: Jesús Blasco, Víctor Mora, Ambrós, Manuel Gago, Escobar, Benejam, Coll o Ibáñez, among many others).

Juego de héroes [Heroes’ game]
Workshops for children (from 7 to 14 years old)

Have fun drawing your favourite heroes and fantastic animals. In this workshop, we will draw cards to help us define our own imaginary heroes. Later, we will all play a role game with the cards.
