MADRID OTRA MIRADA

Madrid City Council has launched Madrid Otra Mirada (MOM) for the sixth year in a row, a project designed to raise awareness of the cultural and artistic heritage that the capital treasures through guided visits, conferences, concerts and exhibitions.

The event’s main attraction is the chance to discover historic buildings that are usually closed to the public. More than 100 entities (local, regional, national, ecclesiastical and private) take part in the event, organizing 150 free activities. It is a great opportunity to explore the cultural wealth of the most significant corners of Madrid.

The Museo ABC joins the program Madrid Otra Mirada organizing two activities:

ILLUSTRATION CONTEST «I DRAW THE MUSEO ABC»
We invite you to come to the Museum with paper and pencils to draw the building from the angle and with the technique that inspires you most. You decide! Then, publish a photograph of your drawing

GUIDED TOUR TO THE ARCHIVE OF THE COLECCIÓN ABC
The Museo opens the doors of the Archive that is home to 150,000 illustrations by 1,500 authors from 1891 to nowadays. The visit will take place on October, 19 at 11 a. m.
