Museo ABC starts a new programme of seminars with well-known teachers of contemporary illustration. Seminaries will take place during one or two weekends (there are two modalities of 10 or 20 hours) at the Museo ABC and they are aimed to design and illustration professionals or to amateurs with a basic knowledge of drawing.

Max Ernst explains the discovery of the collage in 1919, when he found a book in which «the absurdity of his accumulations confused the sight and the spirit, causing hallucinations and giving the represented objects a new meaning that changed rapidly». Based on this premise, on Ernst’s collages and surrealistic novels, on Cozette de Chamoy’s book The True Life of Sweeney Todd and on Chumy Chúmez’s Una biografía, we will address, under the direction of Celsius Pictor, the use of the collage as a narrative tool. The main goal of the seminary is to create a little illustrated collage novel during the 20 hours workshop.
