The workshop entitled «Thought, image and mouse. Conceptual illustration in a digital environment» is aimed to those interested in the illustration as way of information and communication. It is not necessary to have artistic qualities or a professional background, but students are required to be familiar with the use of computers (as they are the main tool of this workshop) as well as the use of Photoshop or any other similar drawing program.
This is a workshop focused on mental training. The purpose is to elaborate an image able to transmit the appropriate content and tone. The use of the computer offers quickness and versatility to the execution. Everyday we will draw and correct articles, essays… all writings that make us think about the narration through the image. We will study the mechanisms and necessary processes to turn concepts into drawings full on intention, by using the computer as the main tool.
