MADRID OTRA MIRADA

Madrid City Council has launched the 7th Edition of Madrid Otra Mirada (MOM), a project designed to raise awareness of the cultural and artistic heritage that the capital treasures through guided visits, conferences, concerts and exhibitions.

The event’s main attraction is the chance to discover historic buildings that are usually closed to the public. More than 100 entities (local, regional, national, ecclesiastical and private) take part in the event, organizing 150 free activities. It is a great opportunity to explore the cultural wealth of the most significant corners of Madrid.
On the occasion of the Madrid Another Look Festival (MOM 2019), the Museo ABC opens the doors of its archive to show part of the rich heritage that it preserves: almost 150,000 drawings and illustrations of 1,500 artists that represent the ABC Collection.

The Museo ABC joins the City Cultural Heritage Festival by opening access to its archive on October 18th thus the public can get to know the Colección ABC in a private visit guided by the conservation staff of the Museum.

GUIDED TOUR TO THE ARCHIVE OF THE COLECCIÓN ABC
The Museo opens the doors of the Archive that is home to 150,000 illustrations by 1,500 authors from 1891 to nowadays. The visit will take place on October, 18th at 12 p. m.
