André Bouchard (Rennes, 1958) is a French author who has written and illustrated books for children and works for the magazine Le Point. In his drawings, he combines literature and humor with subversion to reach the most varied readers.

The Museo ABC presents a solo exhibition of this magnificient illustrator. The exhibition is composed of a selection of books by the author published in Edelvives, in addition to a series of cartoons published in the press. In total, 69 original illustrations made with Chinese ink and watercolor on paper.

The exhibition is divided into four sections. Side dish shows the illustrations of two books: Antes, cuando no había colegio and Ernesto, amo del mundo. First course brings together the drawings of three books that are reviews of classical literature seen from an original point of view: Los leones no comen pienso, ¡Soy el lobo! and Un hada descontrolada. Press sorbet displays cartoons published from 2000 to 2010 in the French magazine Le Point. The last section, Dessert, shows illustrations with a high social commitment: El pachá que se aburría, La extraordinaria historia de la gallina Manuela and Los Simblanca.
