Attention! They are alive and loose is an exhibition that can be visited in the Museo ABC where you will re-read classic stories from your childhood.

The exhibition brings together a selection of illustrations by five current artists that are part of the collection Clásicos ilustrados, published by Edelvives. The exhibition begins with the reinvention of The Wizard of Oz by the famous Benjamin Lacombe from a free version of Sebastién Perez on the novel by L. Frank Baum. The tour continues with the work of Justine Brax and her graphic interpretation of Pinocchio. Marco Mazzoni introduces us through the delicacy of his pencils to Pulgarcita (Thumbling), the lovely character of Hans Christian Andersen. Yvan Duque welcomes us to the colourful universe of El Maravilloso Mundo de Nils Holgersson (The Wonderful Adventures of Nils), a charming tale of the Swedish Nobel Prize Selma Lagerlöf. Finally, Alessandra Maria presents her work on Piel de Asno (Donkey Skin) by Cécile Roumiguière (originally included in the book The Tales of Mother Goose by Charles Perrault), a very complete version that unites oral tradition and cinema.
