Nati Bermejo

The fourth edition of the program Conexiones (Foundation Banco Santander and Museo ABC) deepen into the artwork of the artist Natividad Bermejo with the help of the curator Óscar Alonso Molina. The theme of Natividad Bermejo’s set is the naval and military world. The exhibition gathers artworks exclusively made for the project and others lent from Colección Banco Santander and Colección ABC, the Center for Contemporary Art in Burgos, Museum of Contemporary Art of León, or galleries such as Egam (Madrid), Estrany-de la Mota (Barcelona) or Rafael Ortiz (Seville). In these work the artist emulates with pencil different perspectives in an almost scientific reality. The cold empirical approach and the represented landscape (seas, glaciers, distant galaxies, nearby wars…) contrasts with the poetry of his images.
