CHANGE OF LIGHTS
SPANISH ILLUSTRATION IN THE 70’S
It may look like Change of lights is an illustration catalogue for children, but it is not. Its 228 pages gather up the work of the best Spanish illustrators from the seventies: José Ramón Sánchez, Fina Rifá, Pilarín Bayés, Asun Balzola, Manuel Boix, Miguel Calatayud, Luis de Horna, Miguel Ángel Pacheco, Karin Schubert, Carme Solé Vendrell and Ulises Wensell. These eleven artists created the guidelines of Modern Drawing in a difficult moment for Spain to establish a fluent international artistic dialogue.
