SUPERHEROES WITH Ñ

Superheroes with Ñ is the first catalog dedicated to comics that the Museo ABC has hold. It has almost 500 pages that gather the most popular superheroes of all time and their national creators, the one that from Spain “dared not only to dream, but to fulfill their dreams” —giving shape and color to these cartoon heroes.

The curator of the exhibition, Julián Clemente (Publisher of Marvel Spain), reviews the history of comics produced in Spain grouping it into 4 sections at 47 authors ( “Pioneers” and “The Great Landing” of the nineties, the “Generation Labyrinth,” the “Unrepresented, Iconoclasts And Outsiders” and the unclassifiable but essential in “Apart”). It is included a biographical profile and a selection of the most famous works of each artist. This historical thread is written along with a profile of a superhero and his or her characteristic onomatopoeias.
