The Museo ABC has created an education program focused specifically on his senior students (60 years old or more). This initiative pretends to approach the students to gradually get used to the basic techniques and tools of drawing, and to enrich their imagination and develop new creative capacities.

This year the course lasts 3 months, from January to March, and is divided into two groups so the participants that have already studied Contemporary Drawing last year should now register to Group B. However, a new student can choose any of the two groups but knowing that A is for learners and B is Advanced.

The course is divided into two groups of ten classes each:
In group A: Drawing A1 (The World).
In group B: Drawing B1(Reflex Diary).

Classes will start with a theoretical introduction where the students will learn and experiment the different expressive possibilities of drawings. Every  lesson will be focused on a new concept proposed by the teacher and a formal analysis of an original drawing from the ABC Collection. The last minutes the students will have to do an exercise to practice what they just learnt.

TEACHER: JAVIER CHAVARRÍA DÍAZ (Madrid, 1966).
